Child and Adolescent Mental Health Program – 6-18 Years Old

CMHA WW Service: The goal of the child and adolescent mental health program is to support children, youth and families in enhancing mental health and coping skills. We do this by promoting positive social emotional development, fostering positive connections with caring adults and connecting with opportunities and resources in the community that will foster growth and learning.
Starling Community Services: Our Community Mental Health team provides flexible assessment, treatment and case management support to families needing additional support to address their needs. The team provides increased understanding of their needs, increased outcomes of treatment approach and a reduction in system complexity. All Children’s Mental Health Services in Waterloo Region are accessed via Front Door.
How to Access Services:
CMHA WW Service: If you live in Guelph you can attend our walk-In Service every Tuesday. If you live in the County, please call Here 24/7, 1-844-437-3247.
Starling Community Services: Just call or walk-in to FrontDoor and they’ll complete a referral for you: 519-749-2932.
